Michael Jackson died today of cardiac arrest at age 50.
If I had my vinyl records down here with me, I’d put Thriller on in honor of a great entertainer. I don’t have any MJ on my ipod, but I do have D.A.N.C.E. (along with an ungodly amount of remixes)*. That will have to do for now.
A lot is unknown about Michael Jackson, there is only speculation; Did he really have vitiligo or did he bleach his skin? Why did he rhinoplasty his nose away? Did he actually molest children? We might never know because his secrets may have died with him. But what we do know is that he brought us some pretty bad ass music. Let’s not remember him as being a pedo or hanging his son out the window…let’s remember him doing the moonwalk and wearing that sparkly glove. In other words, let’s remember black MJ because he was infinitely cooler than clorox MJ (and I say that with the utmost respect).
And I have to acknowledge that earlier today, Farrah Fawcett also passed away. I didn’t personally know Michael or Farrah but it makes me sad that there is no time left for them.

Yep. Sad day.
It’s so sad to hear about Michael Jackson. As a dancer, I’ve performed almost every one of his hits in some form or another. A lot of celebrities have died recently, but he’s the first one that had a big impact on my life personally. It’s a really weird feeling. Anyway, nice post. ;)
